Diagnostic imaging and consultation

Our Carestream CBCT and intraoral scanner provide precise 3D views of your sinuses and jawbone. After reviewing the images, Dr. Tow will explain your options clearly and outline the path forward.

Treatment planning

Once you're cleared for the procedure, we use your digital scans and in-house 3D printing to build a surgical plan that fits your anatomy. This helps reduce surgical time and allows for precise placement.

Sinus lift procedure

The sinus membrane is gently lifted, and bone graft material is placed into the space beneath it. This graft strengthens the area and encourages natural bone growth. The procedure is done in the office under IV sedation, so you stay comfortable throughout.

Healing and follow-up

The grafted area typically takes several months to integrate fully with your natural bone. We monitor your healing closely and coordinate with your dentist to plan implant placement when the bone is strong enough to support it.

The procedure is performed under IV sedation in our surgical suite. Most patients feel minimal discomfort and recover with basic post-op care and follow-up.

It usually takes several months for the grafted bone to fully integrate. Once it's healed, we’ll schedule the next phase of treatment, such as implant placement.
